• Personal details: Name, age, gender, height, and weight — provided by you in the intake form to generate your personalised plan.
• Health & lifestyle data: Activity level, dietary preference (vegetarian / non-vegetarian / vegan), health goal (weight loss / maintenance / gain), and food allergies or restrictions.
• Contact information: Email address, used to deliver your PDF meal plan and send order confirmation.
• Payment information: Processed entirely by Razorpay. We do not store your card number, CVV, or bank details on our servers.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information collected automatically via standard web server logs and analytics tools.

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used exclusively to:

• Generate and deliver your personalised Indian meal plan PDF.
• Process your payment and send order confirmation via email.
• Improve the accuracy and quality of our meal recommendations.
• Respond to customer support queries.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.

Data Storage & Security

Your personal and health data is stored securely in Supabase (hosted on AWS infrastructure in the Asia-Pacific region). We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit.
• Row-Level Security (RLS) policies ensuring your data is accessible only by authorised processes.
• No public-facing write access to our database tables.

While we take reasonable precautions, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique email address when signing up.

Payment Data

All payments are processed by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. NutritionTracker never sees, stores, or transmits your card details. When you complete a payment, you are interacting directly with Razorpay's secure environment.

We store only a payment reference ID and order status in our database to confirm successful delivery of your plan.

Cookies & Tracking

NutritionTracker uses minimal cookies necessary for the website to function:

• Session cookies: Temporary cookies to maintain your form state across steps.
• Analytics: We may use privacy-respecting analytics (such as Plausible or Google Analytics) to understand aggregate usage patterns. No personally identifiable data is used in analytics.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features of the site may not function correctly.

Third-Party Services

NutritionTracker integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Supabase — Database and storage infrastructure.
• Razorpay — Payment processing.
• Vercel — Website hosting and serverless functions.
• Google Fonts — Font delivery (may log IP addresses per Google's policy).

We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of these services if you have specific concerns about their data handling.

Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements.

Data Retention

We retain your intake data and generated meal plan for 12 months from the date of purchase to facilitate customer support and re-delivery if needed. After this period, your personal data is deleted from our systems. Payment transaction records are retained as required by applicable tax and financial regulations.

Children's Privacy

NutritionTracker is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted data to us, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of NutritionTracker after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
